Last night we went to the Kailua Farmer's Market. It's one of four on the island organized by the Hawaii Farm Bureau. There were farmers selling produce, dairy products (mango butter and cream cheese), jarred items, and food. I think this might be our dinner spot on Thursdays. It was hard to decide between the wood grilled pizza, steak, beignets, and more. We saw lots of new kinds of fruits and vegetables (bittermelon?) and multiple kinds of choi (bok choi, pak choi, choy sum).
We've heard the Saturday market in town is quite large (over 200 vendors) and are looking forward to making the market rounds.
