Aloha Obama
President Obama and his entourage came and went. We did not see him nor his motorcade during his holiday, where his family and friends stayed approximately four miles from our "estate" (as we call the studio). R is proud to have correctly guessed where he would be staying weeks before his announced arrival. A is slightly bummed that he wasn't asked to be part of the near-daily basketball game at the Marine Corps base gym, but he also didn't want to wake up early on his own vacation to go to the gym either. Thankfully we did not get caught up in any road closures due to the motorcade passing through. It seems the President does what everyone else does on a beach vacation - nothing. We followed this Twitter feed to learn about his daily whereabouts.

And this was the entrance to the street. There are approximately fifty houses on this street, which was likely a Secret Service headache.

A Twitter feed for his schedule? That's actually pretty genius.
