| Kaneohe Bay |
This is the first time R & A competed in different races, with A completing the Pearl Harbor Hickam Joint Base half-marathon on Saturday.
Sunday was a beautiful day for R to participate in the Tradewind Triathlon on the Marine Corps Base, a sprint triathlon: 500m swim in the murky Kaneohe Bay, an 11-mile bike ride up, down, and around the base runway, and a 5k run which included two crazy, steep hills.

R's goal was to finish last. She exceeded her goal and finished 161st out of 174 finishers with a time of 1:50:08 (swim 13:10, T1 2:51, bike 58:33, T2 1:00, run 34:36). A is a proud husband.
