Maunawili Ditch Trail

One Sunday afternoon we were looking for a short hike not far from home, since A had to wake early to go to work (yes, somebody actually works for living in Hawaii).  We discovered the Maunawili Ditch Trail in nearby Waimanalo.  A 2.75-mile easy if unexciting walking path, wide enough for horse-back riding, goes through a forest on the lower slopes of the Koolau Range.
