We started out this blog wondering if Hawaii was all about the pineapples and palm trees. In a sense, yes. Pineapples and Palm Trees turned out to be an alliterative way to define aloha. While soaking up the sun we also soaked up as much aloha as we could. We recognize that we were in a unique position to spend our afternoons at the beach, weekends hiking in the mountains, every six months popping over to another island and every year visiting a different country. We met wonderful people nearly every where we went and got a glimpse into other ways of life. We thought we'd miss the seasons, but living in slippas and bathing suits took care of that. Now we're adjusting to sweaters and boots. Come see us all bundled up at Gelato a Day?
