J & D Visit!

J & D came for a weeklong visit.  Sadly the weather wasn't the perfect Hawaii weather with which we've become acquainted but we hope they had a good visit nonetheless.

We spent time playing in the pool;

We took a road trip and saw three turtles on the shore plus more in the water at "Turtle Beach" and tasted many of our favorite island snacks such as Leonard's malasadas, fresh coconut, Kahuku shrimp, and shave ice;

We also visited Hanauma Bay, a marine life conservation area, for snorkeling.  

and a few minutes of sun before a rain storm chased us away.
