We've been away and have not had time to update our blog. We have a lot to write about, but we'll start with the biathlon that A completed yesterday. Following R's
completion of the Tradewind Triathlon, A decided he also wanted a new challenge.

The Splash and Dash Biathlon is an annual event held on the K-Bay Marine Corps Base and supports the sailors of HSL-37. The event starts with a 500-meter swim in Kaneohe Bay and finishes with a scenic 5K race around the base. Having never before participated in an event with multiple disciplines, nor having done any pre-race training, A did not realize how hard his lungs would be working when he got to the run portion of the race. Still, A completed the swim in 13 minutes and finished the biathlon in 40 minutes (watch time).
